Yes, we do valeting

A proper inside-and-out clean at home or at work, from £84 in Cannock. Here is exactly what that covers — and what the next step up buys you, so you can decide for yourself rather than take our word for it.

The Straight Answer

Valeting or detailing — which do you need?

They are not competing products, they are two depths of the same job. A valet cleans the car: the paint, the wheels, the glass, the interior, done thoroughly and with equipment that will not damage anything. Detailing works on the paintwork itself — machine polishing out the swirl marks, haze and light scratches that no amount of cleaning will touch, then protecting what is left.

How to tell which one your car wants

Look at the bonnet in direct sunlight. If it is simply dirty, you want a valet and you will be delighted with it. If you can see fine circular scratches, cobwebbing or a dull haze in the reflection, that is damage in the lacquer — washing it will not remove those, and the only thing that will is machine polishing.

Most people need the valet

That is the honest answer and it is why the Full Valet is the package we book most. We would rather do a valet well and have you come back than talk you into correction work your car does not need.

What The Extra Buys

Cleaned, or corrected

The same visit, the same truck. The difference is whether we stop at clean or carry on into the paint.

Questions answered

Both. A valet is the thorough clean — paint, wheels, glass and a full interior — and it is what most of our customers book. Detailing goes further and works on the paint itself. Same truck, same products, same standard of work; the difference is how far we go.
From £84. The final figure depends on where you are, the size of the vehicle and how much work it needs — every town page carries its own starting price, and if you send a few photos on WhatsApp you will get an exact figure back, usually within the hour.
Two to three hours for a full inside-and-out valet, depending on size and condition. A maintenance visit on a car we already look after is nearer an hour.
It is a different job. A hand wash is quick and cheap, and the shared buckets and brushes that make it cheap are the most common cause of the swirl marks we later get paid to polish out. We wash with clean mitts and our own deionised water, and we clean the parts a five-minute wash never reaches.
No. We carry our own water and our own power and need nothing from the property — which is worth asking anyone else you are considering, because plenty expect a hose from your tap and a lead through a window.
