Who the Full Valet detail is for

The Full Valet is the one most people want, and it is what most people mean when they ask for a valet. It is a complete reset inside and out for a car that gets used properly — school runs, motorway miles, dogs, kids, work gear. If your vehicle has not been cleaned in weeks or months and you want it genuinely clean rather than rinsed, this is the package.

When to choose something else

The Full Valet cleans and protects paint, but it does not correct it. If you can see swirl marks, cobwebbing or fine scratches when the sun is on the bonnet, a machine polish is what removes those — a Stage 1 correction on the machine polishing page. If the outside is fine and it is only the inside that has had a hard life, the Interior Reset is the cheaper, more focused option.

What the visit looks like

Two to three hours depending on size and condition. We work through a pre-wash and decontamination before anything touches the paint, because that is what prevents the wash itself putting swirls in. Wheels, arches, shuts and glass are done properly, then the interior is vacuumed, cleaned and dressed, with up to two spot cleans on the seats and carpets. Drizzle is not a problem; we work in most weather.

What you are left with

A sealant goes on at the end, which adds gloss and makes the car easier to wash for roughly two to three months. Rain beads and runs off rather than sitting in a film, and dirt has less to cling to. Our aftercare guide covers how to keep that finish going between visits.
