Privacy Policy
How MVH Mobile Detailing handles the information you send us through this website.
Who we are
MVH Mobile Detailing provides mobile vehicle detailing across Staffordshire. If you have any questions about this policy or about the information we hold, contact us on j4ck.stephens2402@gmail.com or 07311 796805.
What we collect
When you complete the booking or contact form we collect the details you enter: your name, phone number, email address, the service and vehicle you are enquiring about, your postcode or area, your preferred date, and anything you write in the notes. Our server also records the page you submitted from and your IP address, which we use to limit spam submissions.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, payment card details through this website.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your details for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry, quote for the work, and arrange the booking. The lawful basis is that processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services.
We will not add you to a marketing list, sell your details, or share them with third parties for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted after 12 months. Records relating to work we have carried out are kept for six years, which is the period we may need them for accounting and insurance purposes.
Where it is stored, and who else sees it
Enquiries are stored in the database of this website and emailed to us so we can reply. Access is limited to MVH Mobile Detailing.
To deliver that email reliably we use a form-sending service called Web3Forms, operated by Cyberdrive Technologies. The details you submit pass through their service on the way to our inbox, which means they act as a processor of your information on our behalf. They do not use it for their own purposes. Their privacy policy is at web3forms.com/privacy.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies at all. Nothing is stored in your browser to follow you between visits, which is why you are not being asked to accept cookies.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will action it within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
